No cleaning or updating has been done by me, but the two agate guides have obviously re-wrapped at some date. This Rod and Reel combo came With a selection just purchased. The Rod is two piece but no attempt has been made to separate.

The Rod is six sided similar to split bamboo fly construction. Both agate guides and the tip are in good shape.
