I am including a spare spool along with 7wt floating line and sinking that are perfectly suited to this rod after lots of testing. I baby my gear, and the finish is immaculate gorgeous in black. The cork handle and fighting butt are also in great condition. There are some minor scuff marks where the reel meets seat see pictures.

This rod has a beautiful action and is great lake for big trout, bass, carp. The drag is ultra smooth and strong with no discernible peak at the beginning, it very linear in its adjust ability. I am the original owner and purchased this rod reel in 2019. The rod itself is in immaculate condition with no scuff marks, and its covered by Orvis 25 year warranty.
