Non-original used aluminum rod tube. A great bass and trout rod. Original varnish is in exceptional condition. In my hand, the action is on fast side of medium.

Non-original tube with original bag. South Bend model 29 bamboo fly rod used: vintage1941/1942 in excellent condition 7, 6-7 weight, 2-piece, 2-tips, 4 oz. The varnish shows no signs of micro-chips.

The model 29 is a 7, 2-piece/2 tips for 6-7-weight line weighing 4.50 oz on my digital scale. South Bend model 29 vintage bamboo fly rod w/Pflueger Medalist 1495 Reel Outfit includes. This fairly rare and collectible rod consists of medium tempered cane with garnet red/black wraps. The mil drum-style stripper, all guides and wraps are solid perfect.

For your consideration is a South Bend model 29 bamboo fly rod in original excellent condition. All sections are full- length and straight. New neoprene pouches with Velcro closures.
